"The trip from Sarajevo to Sofia with Amer L was fantastic. He came to our hotel about ten minutes before the scheduled pick-up time, which was much appreciated as this meant there was absolutely zero anxious waiting around for us. Early on in the trip, when we stopped for a rest break, instead of stopping at a service station he took us to the famous bridge in Visegrad; it genuinely felt like we were getting more than we paid for as not only is this worth a side trip in itself, Amer also gave us a detailed and fascinating history of the town, the bridge, Ivo Andrics book etc, to the point that it's the next book I'm planning to read. This set the tone for the rest of the trip, as for lunch we stopped at an amazing 'wooden village' in Serbia, which turned out to be a sort of passion project of the director Emir Kusturica, a place neither myself nor my wife had ever heard of, was absolutely fascinating, had great food and coffee, and again it felt like we were somehow getting more than we had paid for. Throughout the trip Amers calm presence and dry sense of humour, as well as his obvious experience with driving and with driving on these roads in particular, made for a very pleasant drive, despite the duration of it and the winding mountain roads. He was always ready to answer our questions, and we learnt so much about Serbia and Bosnia, as actual places, not just as travel destinations. When we got to Sofia, Amer went well beyond expectations to find our hotel- we must have circled the same block 4 times due to the deficiencies of Google maps before he got out and asked what may have been several local taxi drivers where our hotel actually was. He then dropped us off right at the door of our hotel. Amer L made a long car trip a very pleasant, relaxing and fun experience and we cannot recommend him highly enough."

"During out tour of the Eastern European countries we have used your service 5 times. We think your service offers an excellent alternative travel to group travel and is particularly useful in areas with limited travel alternatives such as train or flights. We want to first comment on the patience and helpfulness and skills of the drivers. They were all professional, considerate and flexible. We enjoyed meeting them and we were appreciative of their generosity in sharing personal stories which helped us better understand some of the countries’ issues and culture. We offer some general comments but we do want to mention that some drivers were outstanding with not only excellent driving skills but also they were well informed and a pleasure to drive with."
