Yes! Book a private, door-to-door airport transfer with a local English-speaking driver. Enjoy fixed and transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and the option to pay in advance without the hassle of exchanging cash at a foreign airport.
You will receive the vehicle that best fits the number of travelers in your group, ranging from a sedan to a van for groups of up to 7. Depending where you travel, you can book anything from a sedan comparable to a Toyota Corolla to a Mercedes V-Class to a Classic Cuban Car. While the exact model may vary, we always ensure that the vehicle provided meets your needs in terms of safety, reliability, and comfort. You may be upgraded to a larger vehicle class free of charge depending on availability. Since our largest vehicle seats 7, for groups larger a combination of vehicles will be used. We will send you the exact vehicle details a few days before your trip.
Everywhere except the USA, drivers will supply appropriate child seats (just let us know during booking). In the USA, certain states require you to supply your own child seats.
Know more about traveling from Anse Mamin
Absolutely, and most visitors do. The beach is within easy reach of Soufriere, which is home to some of Saint Lucia's most iconic sights — the twin Piton peaks, the Sulphur Springs volcanic drive-in, and the Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens. A day trip from Castries can realistically include a stop or two en route, making Anse Mamin the anchor of a broader southwest Saint Lucia experience rather than a standalone destination.
Anse Mamin sits roughly 42 km (26 miles) south of Castries. The drive winds through Saint Lucia's mountainous interior, so the journey typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the route and traffic. The scenery along the way — banana plantations, rainforest ridges, and coastal overlooks — makes the drive part of the experience rather than just transit time.
Plan for a full day. Between the drive from Castries, time on the beach and in the water, any optional activities like biking or snorkeling, and the return journey, four to six hours at the location itself is a comfortable target. Arriving earlier in the morning means calmer seas for snorkeling and less midday heat on the trail.
The beach itself is the draw, but there is plenty to keep you busy for a full day. Snorkeling is exceptional thanks to calm, clear water and healthy coral close to shore. The surrounding grounds include a network of mountain biking trails through the jungle. The historic ruins of an 18th-century plantation are also on-site, adding an unexpected cultural layer to the visit. Many visitors combine Anse Mamin with a stop at Anse Chastanet beach, which is just a short walk away.
Anse Mamin is a secluded black-sand beach on Saint Lucia's southwest coast, tucked within the lush jungle near Soufriere. Unlike the island's busier resort beaches, Anse Mamin feels genuinely off the beaten path — calm, uncrowded, and framed by dense tropical forest and volcanic hills. It is one of the few beaches on the island that combines world-class snorkeling with mountain biking trails and raw natural scenery, all in one place.
Anse Mamin is not easily served by public buses, and the route involves mountain roads that can be challenging to navigate without local knowledge. A private transfer puts a professional driver in charge of the journey so you can focus on the view rather than the road. You also get door-to-door pickup on your schedule, with the flexibility to request sightseeing stops along the way — something no minibus or shared shuttle can offer.
