Yes! Book a private, door-to-door airport transfer with a local English-speaking driver. Enjoy fixed and transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and the option to pay in advance without the hassle of exchanging cash at a foreign airport.
You will receive the vehicle that best fits the number of travelers in your group, ranging from a sedan to a van for groups of up to 7. Depending where you travel, you can book anything from a sedan comparable to a Toyota Corolla to a Mercedes V-Class to a Classic Cuban Car. While the exact model may vary, we always ensure that the vehicle provided meets your needs in terms of safety, reliability, and comfort. You may be upgraded to a larger vehicle class free of charge depending on availability. Since our largest vehicle seats 7, for groups larger a combination of vehicles will be used. We will send you the exact vehicle details a few days before your trip.
Everywhere except the USA, drivers will supply appropriate child seats (just let us know during booking). In the USA, certain states require you to supply your own child seats.
Know more about traveling from Druskininkai
Yes — the town is well set up for mixed groups. The lakeside park is relaxed and easy to walk, and Grutas Park genuinely engages kids with its open-air layout, mini-zoo, and playground alongside the historical exhibits. The Aquapark is a popular option for families who want something more active. The town is compact, uncrowded compared to major cities, and has a calm pace that suits families who want a day out without the pressure of a packed urban itinerary.
Druskininkai sits about 130 km (81 miles) south of Vilnius. By private transfer, the drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic, and it is a straightforward route with no connections or transfers involved. That makes it one of the more accessible day trips from the Lithuanian capital — you can be walking through the spa town's famous park well before noon.
A full day is the right call. Between the lakeside park, St. Mary's Church, the Druskininkai Museum, and the M.K. Ciurlionis Memorial House-Museum, the town itself fills three to four hours comfortably. Add a spa session or a visit to Grutas Park — the remarkable open-air Soviet sculpture collection located a short drive from the town center — and the day fills up fast. Most visitors find they want more time, not less.
Grutas Park is an open-air museum located a few kilometers outside Druskininkai, filled with Soviet-era statues, propaganda materials, and recreations of gulag-style structures. Founded in 2001, it holds 86 statues and draws visitors as one of the most unusual historical sites in the Baltics. It is thought-provoking, well-maintained, and completely unlike anything else in the region. If you have a private transfer with a flexible driver, adding it as a stop on the way to or from Druskininkai is an easy decision.
Most day trip destinations offer history or scenery. Druskininkai offers both, plus something harder to find: genuine rest. The town was built around therapeutic mineral waters and has been drawing visitors for that purpose since the 18th century. Today it combines a walkable, spa-town atmosphere with serious cultural draws — including a dedicated museum to M.K. Ciurlionis, one of Lithuania's most celebrated artists and composers, who grew up here. It is a rare place where slowing down is the whole point.

So, so happy I stumbled upon this website to book two private transports while visiting Lima, Peru. They were both one-way trips approximately 3 hours in length. Great communication as soon as everything was booked via email and I then downloaded their app. I had a few issues with the app and the customer service was awesome trying to assist me in getting it corrected. Honestly impressive customer service which gave you a positive feeling that you made the right choice. Both drivers were right on time - No issues whatsoever! Can't say enough about the service and ease of everything when travelling so far away. Great job to the daytrip team! Would strongly recommend.
