Yes! Book a private, door-to-door airport transfer with a local English-speaking driver. Enjoy fixed and transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and the option to pay in advance without the hassle of exchanging cash at a foreign airport.
You will receive the vehicle that best fits the number of travelers in your group, ranging from a sedan to a van for groups of up to 7. Depending where you travel, you can book anything from a sedan comparable to a Toyota Corolla to a Mercedes V-Class to a Classic Cuban Car. While the exact model may vary, we always ensure that the vehicle provided meets your needs in terms of safety, reliability, and comfort. You may be upgraded to a larger vehicle class free of charge depending on availability. Since our largest vehicle seats 7, for groups larger a combination of vehicles will be used. We will send you the exact vehicle details a few days before your trip.
Everywhere except the USA, drivers will supply appropriate child seats (just let us know during booking). In the USA, certain states require you to supply your own child seats.
Know more about traveling from Siegen
Yes, and this is where a Daytrip private transfer adds real value. The route between Siegen and cities like Cologne, Frankfurt, or Dortmund passes through scenic Sauerland countryside and smaller towns worth a pause. With a Daytrip driver, you can request a sightseeing stop at a location along your route — such as the Edersee reservoir or the town of Marburg — turning a straightforward transfer into a fuller travel day at no extra stress.
Siegen sits at a natural crossroads in central-western Germany. It is approximately 100 km (62 miles) from Cologne, around 115 km (71 miles) from Frankfurt, and roughly 80 km (50 miles) from Dortmund. This makes it a realistic day trip from any of these departure points, with journey times typically ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on your origin and route.
Four to five hours is enough to cover Siegen's highlights comfortably. The old town and both castles are close together and walkable within the compact city center. If you plan to spend time inside the Siegerlandmuseum or want a relaxed lunch break, allow closer to six hours. Because Siegen is not a sprawling destination, a day trip format fits it perfectly.
The city center itself is very walkable once you arrive, but Siegen's position in a hilly valley means the journey from most major cities is more convenient with private transport than by public connections, which often involve multiple transfers. Arriving by private transfer means you start exploring immediately rather than navigating bus or rail changes, and your driver can drop you at the most convenient point near the old town.
Siegen is a compact, underrated gem in the Siegerland region of western Germany. The Upper Castle (Oberes Schloss) is the centerpiece, housing the Siegerlandmuseum with its collection of works by Peter Paul Rubens, who was born here in 1577. The Lower Castle (Unteres Schloss) and the medieval old town offer easy walking exploration. The surrounding hills and the Siegener Tiergarten make Siegen a pleasant mix of culture and nature without the crowds of larger German cities.
Siegen punches above its size. It offers genuine historical depth as the birthplace of Baroque master Rubens, a well-preserved castle complex, and a charming old town that most international travelers overlook entirely. For those based in the Rhine-Ruhr region, it provides a meaningful cultural experience without the tourist density of Cologne or Frankfurt — exactly the kind of discovery that makes a day trip feel worthwhile.

So, so happy I stumbled upon this website to book two private transports while visiting Lima, Peru. They were both one-way trips approximately 3 hours in length. Great communication as soon as everything was booked via email and I then downloaded their app. I had a few issues with the app and the customer service was awesome trying to assist me in getting it corrected. Honestly impressive customer service which gave you a positive feeling that you made the right choice. Both drivers were right on time - No issues whatsoever! Can't say enough about the service and ease of everything when travelling so far away. Great job to the daytrip team! Would strongly recommend.
