The cancellation policy may vary depending on your trip. The cancellation conditions available for your booking will always be shown before confirming your trip. Depending on eligibility, Daytrip offers different cancellation options:
Non-refundable: If your trip is canceled after confirmation, the amount paid will not be refunded.
Standard: If your trip is canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, the amount paid will be refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are not eligible for a refund.
Flexible: If your trip is canceled at least 1 hour before the scheduled departure time, the amount paid will be refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before departure are not eligible for a refund.
Trips booked less than 24 hours before departure may not be eligible for free cancellation unless stated otherwise during the booking process.

You will receive the vehicle that best fits the number of travelers in your group, ranging from a sedan to a van for groups of up to 7. Depending where you travel, you can book anything from a sedan comparable to a Toyota Corolla to a Mercedes V-Class to a Classic Cuban Car. While the exact model may vary, we always ensure that the vehicle provided meets your needs in terms of safety, reliability, and comfort. You may be upgraded to a larger vehicle class free of charge depending on availability. Since our largest vehicle seats 7, for groups larger a combination of vehicles will be used. We will send you the exact vehicle details a few days before your trip.
Everywhere except the USA, drivers will supply appropriate child seats (just let us know during booking). In the USA, certain states require you to supply your own child seats.

So, so happy I stumbled upon this website to book two private transports while visiting Lima, Peru. They were both one-way trips approximately 3 hours in length. Great communication as soon as everything was booked via email and I then downloaded their app. I had a few issues with the app and the customer service was awesome trying to assist me in getting it corrected. Honestly impressive customer service which gave you a positive feeling that you made the right choice. Both drivers were right on time - No issues whatsoever! The small town center is flat and walkable, with restaurants and shops close together, which suits gentle strolling. However, the main attractions, caves, lagoons and viewpoints, are spread out over rough, unpaved countryside roads and involve uneven trails, steps and steep climbs that are difficult for strollers and wheelchairs. Renting a scooter, buggy or hiring transport is the usual way to get around.
Vang Vieng is generally safe and welcoming, and tourism here is now more regulated and family-friendly than in the past. Take normal precautions with valuables, and be sensible with adventure activities: wear provided safety gear, take care on slippery cave and trail surfaces, and respect the river's currents. Good travel insurance is wise, and many people enjoy activities with a guide for added peace of mind.
Tipping is not a strong tradition in Laos but is increasingly appreciated, especially in tourism. Rounding up the bill or leaving a little extra for good service at restaurants is a kind gesture. There are ATMs in town, and exchanging money is easy, but rates can be better in town than at airports. Carry enough kip for daily spending, activities and entrance fees.
The official language is Lao. In Vang Vieng, a popular travel destination, English is widely spoken at hotels, restaurants and tour agencies, so communicating is generally easy. Learning a few Lao words is appreciated and warmly received. A translation app can help in smaller shops and rural villages nearby.
Lao cuisine is fresh and flavorful. Try laap, a zesty minced-meat salad often called the national dish, and sticky rice, eaten by hand with most meals. Sample tam mak hoong, a spicy green papaya salad, and khao piak sen, a comforting noodle soup. Vang Vieng also has plenty of riverside cafes serving Lao coffee and international dishes for travelers.
The cool, dry season from November to March is the best time to visit Vang Vieng, with pleasant weather ideal for outdoor activities, hot air balloons and clear lagoon swimming. The hot season runs from March to May, while the green, lush rainy season from June to October brings heavy showers and a stronger river, which can limit some activities.
