Yes! Book a private, door-to-door airport transfer with a local English-speaking driver. Enjoy fixed and transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and the option to pay in advance without the hassle of exchanging cash at a foreign airport.
You will receive the vehicle that best fits the number of travelers in your group, ranging from a sedan to a van for groups of up to 7. Depending where you travel, you can book anything from a sedan comparable to a Toyota Corolla to a Mercedes V-Class to a Classic Cuban Car. While the exact model may vary, we always ensure that the vehicle provided meets your needs in terms of safety, reliability, and comfort. You may be upgraded to a larger vehicle class free of charge depending on availability. Since our largest vehicle seats 7, for groups larger a combination of vehicles will be used. We will send you the exact vehicle details a few days before your trip.
Everywhere except the USA, drivers will supply appropriate child seats (just let us know during booking). In the USA, certain states require you to supply your own child seats.

A half-day is enough to explore the main market area, browse local handicrafts, try Bolivian street food, and take in the border town energy. If you want a more relaxed pace — stopping at the central plaza, visiting the local shops, and having a proper sit-down meal — plan for a full day. The town is compact, so you will not feel rushed.
Yes — Villazón works extremely well as a day trip anchor or a route stop between Tupiza and the Argentine border. Many travelers combine it with Tupiza, which offers dramatic red rock canyons and Butch Cassidy history just a short drive away. A private transfer makes it easy to build a flexible itinerary, stopping where you want rather than being locked into a fixed bus timetable.
The Mercado Central is the beating heart of the town and the best place to experience local Andean commerce — fresh produce, woven textiles, spices, and street food all in one chaotic, colorful space. The main plaza is a pleasant spot to rest and watch daily life unfold. The town also sits at a striking high-altitude setting, with the surrounding Andean landscape making the journey itself part of the experience.
Villazón is a lively Bolivian border town sitting at the edge of the Andes, directly across from La Quiaca, Argentina. It draws travelers with its bustling street markets, colorful local commerce, and authentic Andean atmosphere that feels a world away from tourist-polished destinations. If you want to see everyday Bolivian life up close — the food stalls, the textile vendors, the mix of cultures — Villazón delivers that in a compact, walkable setting.
The road between Tupiza and Villazón runs through scenic Andean terrain, with stretches of winding mountain road and high-altitude landscapes.
