### From Porto to Seville by bus BlaBlaCar Bus is the only private bus-pooling line that offers trips from Porto to Seville, and unlike other bus lines, the tickets can be pricey. On average, BlaBlaCar Bus offers trips to Seville from Porto once daily, and ticket prices cost between $55 and $77 (€50.50-€70) one way. A trip also takes about nine and a half hours to get from one city to the next. Unfortunately, many customers have had bad experiences with BlaBlaCar Bus, so it might be worthwhile to look into alternatives with better reputations, like Flixbus and RenEX. Both bus lines offer trips daily, but they are not cheap. A ticket costs around the same price as BlaBlaCar Buses. In addition, these buses take between 10 and 12 hours to reach Seville, so they are not fast. ### From Porto to Seville by train Although a train offers a connecting bus trip, it is often best to travel the entire way by train if you can afford it, as it requires less effort and is a more streamlined process. However, taking a train the entire way is more time-consuming, with an average trip taking about 12 hours and 10 minutes and costing between $50 and $100 (€46-€92). Two train lines, Comboios De Portugal and Renfe Viajeros, offer trips from Porto to Seville. The former covers the first half of the trip, while the latter takes you the rest of the way. Unfortunately, taking a train will involve multiple stops and transfers in different cities and towns along the route. You won't get to tour these places as there won't be enough time between transfers. ### From Porto to Seville by flight If you're hoping a flight is the most convenient and easiest way to travel from Porto to Seville, we're sorry to disappoint. Unfortunately, there isn't a direct plane between these two cities with major airlines. If you want to take a plane, you will first need to hop on a train that will take you to Maia, and from there, you will fly to Faro. Once you arrive in Faro, after an hour and 10-minute flight, you will need to take a bus to Seville. This bus takes about two hours and 45 minutes to complete the trip, but the bad news is a bus only leaves every four hours, so you might be in for a bit of a wait. Not to mention, the entire trip could cost you well over $250 (€230). ### From Porto to Seville by private car One of the best travel experiences you can expect to have when traveling from Porto to Seville is by private car. “Jag är så, så glad att jag råkade hitta den här webbplatsen för att boka två privata transporter under mitt besök i Lima, Peru. Båda var enkelresor på ungefär tre timmar. Kommunikation var utmärkt så fort allt var bokat via e-post, och sedan laddade jag ner deras app. Jag hade några problem med appen och kundtjänsten var fantastisk och hjälpte mig att lösa dem. Rundtur genom Toscana

“Vi hade samma chaufför under vår tvådagarsresa i Toscana. Jag kunde själv planera vår resrutt så att vi kunde åka dit vi ville och se det vi ville se. Marco var fantastisk! Han öppnade dörrarna för oss och såg till att min mamma kunde ta sig in och ut ur bilen utan problem. Det fanns vatten i bilen för oss. Han var tidig när han hämtade oss båda dagarna och körde oss så nära städerna som möjligt. Han berättade vilken väg vi skulle ta för att komma in i städerna och skickade sedan sin plats till mig så att vi visste hur vi skulle hitta tillbaka till honom efter att ha gått runt på gatorna. Jag är så glad att jag bestämde mig för att boka en chaufför som tog oss genom Toscana. Det tog bort all oro och stress över att köra i en region jag aldrig hade varit i och där jag inte visste var man kunde parkera. Pengar mycket väl spenderade!”

“Vi var mycket nöjda med kvaliteten på den service vi fick från Day Trip. Vi hade två resor med Day Trip: den 31 augusti från Aten till Lefkada och den 7 september från Lefkada tillbaka till Aten. Båda resorna inkluderade stopp vid natursköna platser i Grekland. Båda förarna var utmärkta och tillmötesgående. Vi vill dock särskilt uppmärksamma Panos Peppas, som var vår förare från Lefkada till Aten. Panos var otroligt trevlig och behaglig och levererade enastående kundservice, som inkluderade att han tog hand om allt vårt bagage, gav oss kallt vatten under hela resan, försåg oss med proteinbars, gav oss tryckt material om Korintkanalen (ett av de natursköna stoppen), tog reda på och gav oss terminal- och gateinformation för vårt flyg hem, samt gav oss ett recept på tzatziki.”

“Highly recommend company and driver Nuno F. Received several useful reminders, including one with Nuno's picture, type of car (a comfortable and spotless Mercedes E-class station wagon) and his phone number. They even reminded us of a daylight savings time change the prior night to our trip, which was a nice touch since ours had already occurred in the US. Nuno was exceptional in his describing the sights along the way and, due to rain preventing us from walking around Castelo de Vide, he even drove us all around the quaint streets that were so narrow he actually had to pull in his side mirror! He did an un-planned stop at a wonderful old café he knew about where we met the owner and received an interesting description of the unique tiles on the walls that Nuno translated for us. We came away with a great appreciation of the people and the culture. Due to a last-minute change in plans with the people we were to meet in Seville, we had to arrive at our destination an hour earlier than originally planned and, thanks to Nuno, he got us there ahead of the required arrival time. In all our haste, I left my jacket in the back seat of his car and, about an hour later, Nuno came back to the hotel and found us having dinner to return my jacket. What super service! We definitely will be using DayTrip – and asking for Nuno – in the future should we return to this beautiful area.”

Porto (Portugal) to Seville (Spain)

“We are two senior couples and wanted to book a private transfer from Porto to Seville, to avoid a much more convoluted train or air transfer. We too had the same initial questions around reliability, safety, authenticity etc about Daytrip, but after reading reviews from other TA members, we booked a day transfer with two stops en route. Daniel F, our driver, arrived right on time, with a large van, which was spotless and helped us with our luggage from the hotel. He also gave us all water and a delicious Portuguese egg tart. We had a stop in Coimbra for a look around the cathedral and university and a great coffee shop, then a stop at a roadside cafe for lunch. Later we stopped in Badajoz, which unfortunately was "closed" during siesta time but gave us a chance to have a beer in a local inn, a toilet stop and a walk around, so not all bad. Then we arrived in Seville- a little late but still well before dinner. We had a most enjoyable day and Daniel at all times was a courteous, considerate and careful driver. We, too, would not hesitate to book with Daytrip again for European transfers, which are really a tour but going from A to B, not A to A.”

Spain and Portugal vacation

“My cousin and I needed transportation from Porto , Portugal to Spain to hike the Camino. We were met at the airport by Leonardo. He is extremely professional and kind. My cousin and I immediately fell asleep in the car after long flights. We woke up at our destination in sarria. He waited until we met our air bnb host, before leaving. I was tired and preoccupied with the air bnb check in , and I wanted to tip him but forgot in all the handing off. Leonardo, if you read this, please know that I am sorry for not acknowledging my appreciation of your service. You far exceeded my expectation. I thank you very much . You are a wonderful and kind man!! We had also booked this company later in the trip to transport us from Seville Spain to Lisbon. We met Evo. Just as Leonardo was, Evo was prompt, and professional. Our husbands had joined us after the Camino, so they got to experience this company as well, and they were also blown away with how nice he was . We all highly recommend this service.
