Perfect Transport

Andreas did a great job picking us up from Pireaus Cruise Port and taking us to our rental in Spata. The three of us had been on a long cruise and had 9 pieces of luggage. He arrived in an appropriate vehicle and loaded and unloaded all of it. We are very happy with out decision to book with Daytrip.

Wonderful Transfer

We had a great time on our Porto to Lisbon transfer. Alex was a great driver and guide. He advised us on timings, things to do in the places we stopped, and was very personable. All while making sure we made it to the airport in time for our flight. We would definitely recommend this service and would be happy to take it again.

Great experience

My husband & I enjoy self-drive holidays as a couple, but as we are getting on in years, we felt that the stress of getting a car rental in cities we were unfamiliar with, became a hassle. Then we discovered Daytrip and we hv never looked back since. Just recently, we visited Portugal and all our land transportation was taken care of by Daytrip. From Lisbon to Porto to Lamego and back to Porto to catch our flight home, Daytrip provided such efficient & excellent services - their drivers were always on time, so polite & speaks English, knows the area so well that they were also excellent tour guides. The vehicles very clean and almost new. We were constantly updated with details of our upcoming trips, given driver's particulars, vehicle no & type, etc.....what more can we ask for! As tourists in a foreign country...we appreciated this and felt so safe! I have been recommending Daytrip to all my friends back home.

Great relaxing drive

Our recent Daytrip from Lisbon to Porto was a delight. Our driver António was extremely courteous and friendly. He made the trip so comfortable and giving us great information during the drive. A better way to travel

Our Daytrip tour with Vanda in January from Lisbon to Porto was terrific! She was very knowledgeable and personable, and we totally enjoyed our day, which included stops at Aveiro and Coimbra. We were happy to find a service like this that provides both transportation and sightseeing. Instead of a day spent waiting at the airport for a short flight and then having to find transportation to our hotel, we had door-to-door service, help with luggage, and a guide who could show us new and interesting parts of Portugal, instead of just flying over them! Great concept; reliable service!

Easy ride from Lisbon to Porto

My memory of the trip is a little bleary because we had just come off of an overnight flight, but we all (my family) have only positive feedback to give! Nuno was helpful and gracious and kind. He found us a great little breakfast place in Nazare and described the local pastries. Showed us around the surf area, which was impressive. Enabled us to see Fatima, which was important to a person back home for us to see. It was great to have the ride paired with some tour guide - like information. He was a careful, safe driver and our trip to Porto was pleasant and uneventful and we got to our rental apartment easily while also checking out a little of Porto while entering the city. He did a great job and I love what your company is doing!

Great experience and Great Trip

Booked a private transfer from Porto to Lisbon. Made stops along the way. Our driver Nuno was excellent. He showed up early and already had our luggage loaded in the car. He allowed some flexibility within our trip while keeping us on time to reach our final destination. He showed us the things to do within the stops and ensured we had enough time to visit. Overall I would highly recommend Daytrip

Excellent guide/driver

Pedro was our driver from Lisbon to Porto with stops along the way. Pedro was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to any requests, along with being a safe driver. He shared so much interesting information about Portugal and let us take our time at each stop. We could not have asked for a better driver or experience!

Efficient, Pleasant and Easy

We used Daytrip to travel from Lisbon to Porto and back again. Both drivers (Bruno and Andre) arrived early, spoke excellent English, were extremely courteous and drove safely. On our way to Porto, we stopped in Aveiro for a quick visit. This is a cute town for a short stop. On the return to Lisbon, we stopped at Obidos, which was wonderful. Such a lovely little medieval town! We have used Daytrip in other countries as well: Czech Republic and Hungary. It is a terrific service which, in our opinion, is well worth the money. We have recommended it to our friends as a much preferred alternative to train travel or renting car.

Yes! A return trip will take you back to your city of origin in the same size car in which you arrived. Return trips can be booked for the any day. You can also add customized sightseeing stops separately for each trip! Don’t worry if you don’t know your exact address at the time of booking - you’ll have the opportunity to update us closer to your travel date. Make sure to select “Return” when you start the booking process, then choose the dates and times of your departures.

For private trips, you can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before departure. For the Daytrip Pool shared shuttle, we offer 3 ticket options when booking: Non-refundable, Flexible with cancellations 24 hours before departure, and Super-flexible with cancellations up to 15 minutes before departure.

Simply choose your origin and destination via our homepage and enter your departure date and time. Browse and add sightseeing stops along the way by following the booking instructions provided on-screen. Select “One Way” or “Return” to change the type of trip you need. It’s a simple, easy, and fun way to book your next adventure! And if you don’t see your desired route on our website, you can request a custom trip. You can even book without knowing your exact pick-up or drop-off address - we let you add these later!

Each passenger is allowed one large bag (29" x 21" x 11" / 74 x 53 x 28 cm) and one small bag (22" x 14" x 9" / 56 x 36 x 23 cm). Luxury sedans can only accommodate 2 large bags. We always send the vehicle that is the best fit for you and your luggage, so make sure to select the actual amount of luggage you are traveling with when booking. If you have oversized luggage, or are unsure if your luggage will fit, contact us.

Everywhere except the USA, drivers will supply appropriate child seats (just let us know during booking). In the USA, certain states require you to supply your own child seats.
