"Dusko was a very careful driver and very considerate in accommodating rest stops on this quite long drive. We had a lot of luggage and he spontaneously carried all our heavy bags down many stairs on leaving our accommodation. He was also very knowledgeable about the history and issues of the Balkans. "

"Nikki was an excellent driver and good conversationalist. He showed us the points of interest along the beautiful Dalmatian Coast and talked to us about his family farm in the area. He helped us develop our understanding of events in the Balkans over the last 30 years or so. He pointed out the walls of Ston and, upon learning our interest in the cultivation of oysters, stopped at an oyster farm where we were able to do a tasting. At our stop in Mostar, he recommended a great restaurant where we had one of our most memorable meals on our trip. "

"e had a great experience. We really liked Amer. Our stopover on the way to Sarajevo was at Mostar and Amer gave us a guided tour and then took us to a beautiful little restaurant by the river. We would have never found it by ourselves and this is where we really appreciated having a local person guiding us around and telling us all about the history. It felt more like we had a friend showing us around rather than someone we paid to drive us. When we got to Sarajevo he gave us some suggestions on what guided tours we should do, which we did and really enjoyed them. "
