Paris to Geneva by train

SNCF trains leave every 2 hours starting at 6:18 AM from Paris’ Gare de Lyon station. The high-speed TGV trains arrive in Geneva’s Cornavin station after a 3 hour and 10 minute journey across France. This train station is centrally located in downtown Geneva, close to hotels, taxi stands, and public transportation. Tickets start around $128 (€120).

Paris to Geneva by bus

Flixbus operates bus departures to Switzerland from multiple stations around Paris. Six direct buses leave the Bercy Seine and Massy stations daily and the journey is between 7.5 and 9 hours long. Tickets range from $34 to 62 (€32-€58) and should be bought online ahead of time. Most buses have wifi, electrical outlets, and a restroom for maximum comfort.

Paris to Geneva by flight

Flying is the fastest way to travel. AirFrance flights take 1 hour and 10 minutes, and you can find daily nonstop flights leaving from CDG with airfare between $128 and $422 (€120-€395). Once you arrive in Geneva’s international airport (GVA), a 20-minute taxi ride will get you right to your hotel.

Explore and unwind at Lake Leman

Lake Leman, also known as Lake Geneva, is a stunning crescent-shaped lake, stretching across 224 square miles (580 square km) between Switzerland and France. It's the largest lake in the Alps and reflects the background of the Alps beautifully in the water.
