Cartagena de Indias is Colombia's crown jewel on the Caribbean coast. Try arepa de huevo (a fried corn cake stuffed with egg), fresh ceviche made with Caribbean seafood, and bandeja paisa for a hearty full meal. The street food vendors near the clock tower sell excellent empanadas and fresh fruit cups with chili. Finish with a cold Costeño beer, the regional favorite.
