From Ajaccio, the regional capital and main gateway, Propriano is roughly 75 km (47 miles) and takes around 1 to 1.5 hours by road through scenic coastal and mountain terrain. Public transport connections are infrequent and require careful timing, making them impractical for a day trip where you want flexibility.
